11th Grade Social Studies Field Trip

The 11th grade students travel to Washington D.C. with their social studies classes.

While they are there, they visit several memorials including the World War II, FDR and the fairly new Martin Luther King Memorial.  They also visit the Korean War Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.  After lunch the students will enjoy the Smithsonian museum of American History.
* A note of interest, for the past several years the students have had the pleasure and opportunity to meet and speak with WWII Veterans at the WWII Memorial which has always been both an informative and heart warming experience for everyone.
